Lot of misrable old gits in here!

Open your presents, smile, thank them, then wrap them up next year for some other poor sod.

I asked to be left alone, to do what i wanted to do on my birthday, no having to sit there whilst people visit me all day long.
Similar to my last birthday, when asked what I wanted to do I said a cycle ride with the Mrs and my 2 kids around the countryside, no phones and nobody else. Followed by making pizza at home for dinner, again no phones and no fuss.

Checked my messages at about 9pm and I hadn't missed much. Best birthday I have had in ages!

As for Christmas, it has become way too commercial but as I have 2 nippers, you cant help get excited when they love it so much

That reminds me. A couple of years ago my sister very kindly bought me a donkey in Africa. I thought, 'What the hell, I don't even get the donkey. It goes to some bugger in Africa."

Last year I got my own back, though. I bought her a Cancer Research rubber duck. She's still better off than me, though; she has something to play with in the bath.
