soooooo annoyed like, today was literally the worst game ive ever witnessed by a newcastle team. totally pathetic. we should be a bigger team than southampton. we should be one of the biggest teams in the country. not a bloody laughing stock.

the halloween fright for the mackems. selling players like nolan and barton has totally knackered the current team.

pardew was only just into his reign as newcastle manager when this occured

how are we at the stage we are at now? we should be a propper mint team. instead we play like we havent got a clue
week in week out we get stuffed. we go a goal down is a nailed on certain defeat.

heres another.... a propper newcastle man. a propper servant of the club, his final game. not the best keeper ever but a club legend non the less. 20 years in the first team squad. the current lot will never darken our doors in 20 years time thankfully

actually.... watching the testimonial entrances for the steve harper game. he was basically a reserve keeper for 15 years. then a few as first choice and thats what the fans think of him. there was over 50,000 at that game. the mackems struggle to get 48,000 for a premier league home game to give it some perspective. how the hell are we where we are??? its bloody unbeleivable. and massively annoying. the next game will be quite interesting. st james' park. vs hull. will pardew still be in charge i wonder. if he is i wonder if he will have a bunch of security around him after that fan went at him today.
not condoning anyone thumping him potentially. but fans are getting angry and the amount of losses this year is beyond rediculous. and its like a weekly thumping now

watching the old days games.
now were too slow.
dont press enough
p*ss about too much and try to pass when we cant pass.
lump it long when theres nobody to receive it.
long balls not long passes.
theres no goals
we cant defend
the players dont know what theyre doin
we never score from a corner.
were rubbish at corners
were rubbish attacking
defending
rahhhh

i shudder to think what would have occured if we were playing at anfield, the emirates, old trafford, stamford bridge or even the stadium of plight today. the first double figures scoreline in the premier league would likely have occured.
southampton made light work of us today. ney disrespect like. but we should be better than teams like southampton or west brom or crystal palace or whichever smaller teams you wanna pick. not behind them.

My friends son has recently been put on the free transfer list at Newcastle and (his mum), she's part-fuming at the decision but similarly non-plussed. The lad is hacked off at goings-on behind the scenes (we were out with his mum last weekend and she told us horror stories
). He's ready to move to ANY club to get away from Newcastle.... and given he's been a lifelong supporter (and now player) that's saying a lot for Newcastles demise. This weekends result MUST be the final straw?

Not sure what makes a team "smaller", is it just history? In population terms, and therefore fan base, Newcastle and Southampton have very similar figures.
Newcastle have won more cup competitions than Southampton, but there's many teams in lower divisions now with a more illustrious history than Newcastle: Leeds, Wolves, Notts Forest, Preston North End and many more, they've been and gone and are always hoping to get back, it's tough fin.
Pardew is a bit crap, but we've had a fair few lemons at Tottenham since Bill Nicholson's days (yes, I saw them playing back then), Peter Shreeves - twice, Ossie Ardiles, Christian Gross, David Pleat - thrice!, Jaques Santini, Juande Ramos, AVB, and a few more that never did much of anything, Terry Neil, George Graham, Doug Livermore, Clive Allen.

theres a kid at work who knows him, hes a boldon lad int he?
if i was a young player id rather join the mackems. they have a knack of bringing on players. newcastle just seem to coach the life out of all the kids. very very few make it at newcastle. and they seem to destroy promising players. notable exception being andy carrol.
id not be at all surprised by the stories given what ya hear day to day like. there needs to be a major overhaul of the entire coaching set up at newcastle. from first team right the way down because it looks as though not one of them is doing their jobs properly.
