excelent excelent excelent
fantastic job let there minds go mad
could you not fit an oven door set up or a fridge set up under one or both halves???
maybe even with an internal light
when i build things for kids you have many features that are not exactly accurate but that doesnt matter as play value/enjoyment /able to use there imagination is paramount

Finished! (At last!). Cream again, as I still have most of a huge(and expensive) tin left.

Nice work, Tim
For painted stuff you are just as well using black carcass screws (drilled and countersunk first) then filling with 2-pack. That or 1 x 1in softwood cleats on the inside and screws'n'glue. May be worth mentioning that whilst not as convenient or a versatile biscuit joints can be cut using a router and biscuit joint bitTimllfixit wrote:I don't have a biscuit jointer, but I agree it would be handy in this case.

Dulux difficult surface primer, and Crown "bonnet" eggshell.
I have most of a huge and EXPENSIVE tin left. It was mixed by my local crown trade branch so I couldn't take it back.
As you can see it is all held together with 3/4x3/4 blocks( and no6 screws.)

That looks great! The kids are going to have a lot of fun with that.
