Hello, how much adjustment is there in these things.
Could I adjust it enough to pull one side of a cabinet off the hanger plate by 3-5mm?
Wall is not flat unsurprisingly.

Yes: take a look at how much adjustment there is by winding one out before you hang the cupboard on the wall. I usually wind them out a bit anyway just so I know they'll catch the bracket.

Once it's on the wall wind it back in until it's flush with any adjoining cupboards and then fix the cupboards together before you tighten it back any more.
