i was a bit gutted when ryan giggs retired. id have liked to see him play. last footballer whos career i couldnt remember starting. such a good pro too. all those appearences for one club. probably a record that will never be broken. a bit like shearers newcastle goals record.

cant beleive how long ago it was now :-| i also loved that goal ben arfa scored v bolton for us before he turned into a complete idiot and threw his career away basically.

hatem ben arfa vs bolton probably goes down as the best goal ive seen at sjp. i was in the leazes end that day so we watched him run up the pitch and slot it in. was one of those out of your chair moments as soon as he was past the half way line you could tell what he was gonna do.

and ofcourse the releif when this fella scored against big sham's lot at the end of last season.. cant beleive he still hasnt been taken on by another club which is such a shame. spilt almost a full pint jumping about when the ball hit the net and everyone realised what he had done
