Bob225,what`s a burn account?
Why not Yahoo wine~o...privacy issues?I`ve had two BT accounts for 12 years. When I quit BT 3yrs ago,I thought I`d have to start paying them, but never did.
camallison,I have a Gmail account,can I get another?

Cheers
Why not Yahoo ?? Had my account compromised twice by Indian scammers (despite strong passwords), service down more often than it should be. Puts important e-mails into the spam folder and spam in the inbox... I could go on.

Arggggh!

I`m struggling with an outdated system and that along with my own lack of computer knowledge,I`m failing to understand what`s happening with the following.

I have been to ThrowAwayMail.com and been allocated a 48hr email address that automatically renews when you use your account, but deletes if you don`t.I`m sure most of you didn`t need that explaining to you, haha.

Anyway,a message comes up "copied to clipboard" .What does that mean please? I can`t see anything new on my desktop. How do I access it?Do I got to one of my 3 existing email pages and tap this new email address into the bar instead of my own, when I send messages through ThrowAwayMail, com?

Yours,
Mildly stoopid, but not in general :)

"Clipboard" is the place that stuff that is copied is stored. So you access it by "pasting". Right click then paste, or "Ctrl+v"
If it's text, paste it into Notepad, assuming you're using Windows. Any text editor will do though.

Thanks very much for your reply.I`m ok with copy & paste, but the message comes up that this has been done without any such input from me.It hasn`t claimed to have pasted it anywhere ,so I clicked on "copy email" ,as detailed in the details below,(I`ve blanked the address they gave me),and that`s when the message "Email copied to clipboard" is generated.Where, when, how, haha?

"I don't know" is the short answer.
Plenty of sites have a "copy text" button.
"Bitly" for one, to copy the short address.
No reason that can't be automated I suppose. :dunno:
The ones I've seen have only copied to the "clipboard" though. Not pasted it anywhere.
In fact I'd be highly suspicious of any site that did try to paste text.
Does the text paste to notepad or whatever?

Yeah it's a '55 M21. I used to run it solo. Sold it some time ago now. I haven't really ridden for a long time.

Yes it was a nice bike. Not fast, but a nice relaxed ride. Good round town, and with a big engine sprocket on it enough legs for the odd longer run.
I think they're only 15bhp or something. Must be big horses!
