As I said above its a communication issue TT - BT - Openreach - if its a infrastructure issue your screwed - I have had my dealings with bt, on the third try we got a engineer with half a clue that found a fault on a exchange side line (E-line) about 800m away in a walk over (manhole) he was here going on 5 hours

I agree Bob,had dozens of engineers out to our locale last year between May&Sept, until I got info from ex-BT engineer mate and TOLD Open Leach what to do to sort my neighbour`s issue...then mine.Job sorted. It`s that period, the lies, false billing and whole 2yrs useless service from TT that I`m contesting.
I was hoping to get another email server on the go for when I wade in and get legal with TT.Luckily I have all the recordings of TT`s ineptitude, evasive tactics, playing dumb, ignoring, lies etc,etc..and recordings of the OR engineers I put on the spot and riled, who in turn lied about their work.Useless bunch. Will they burn the real vans this Nov 05th...not just an effigy as last year.
One of the dozen or so engineers I had out to me,as inept as all the others, was boasting that he`d been offered a managerial post in the under-achieving Wisbech area.Blind leading the blind then!

I use GiffGaff which is only £10 a month for 2GB. Not enough for FaceTime/Skype though since that eats up your data. But it's fine for email, general surfing.
