its outward opening door the beads look to be on the inside - the hinges maybe the wrong type tho

Our porch door is outward opening as there wasn't enough clearance to have it opening inwards (also gives you move space to move)

It should have pins on the hinge side tbh with that amount of glass - that would go in first

Apart from looking like they have thrown a can of foam at it the sill also doesent over hang for the drip

Presumably because they didn’t want to chop out the plaster board reveals and make more of a mess . Maybe they couldn’t fix through the frame because it landed in the cavity . I thought that about the straps - must be getting rendered .

Maybe those brackets are doing a different job.. because why would you need 4 on top of the frame.. screw fixings on the sides should be enough..
