Evening All on this snowy cold evening

A quick update on the outside works...

Porch and garage roof now on including the lead work, all guttering in place, just down pipes to fit and connect, under ground pipework connected across front of porch to the main drains sited at front of garage, added a rodding eye just in case  along with a little bit of drainage in front of the garage, this has just been put in place in case we apply for planning for the drive to block pave or something simular as the drive runs downhill towards the garage door entrance, dont want no flooding in my new garage

Managed to get the porch door and window in place today, not finished but you get the picture.

Next week the Electrical insulated Garage door is to be fitted :thumbright: :thumbright: another less draft.

Not long till we pour the concrete for the garage floor, may need to be a little bit warmer, but TBH it is under cover and not under the direct effect of the frost....

Here we go some pictures for you all.... the best bit :huray:

Evening All

A quick up date, front porch door on and sealed, downpipes for porch and garage rain water in place, rodding eye fixed in place, Electric insulated garage door on and working :huray: :huray: :huray:

Hoping to get the garage floor levelled and concreted next week, plus another tidy up required as i still have the scaffolders scaffold in my back garden some 6 months since i dropped the last bit they said they would come back for :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

Then i will be ready for the front steps to be put in place to the porch entry, plus the steps in the garage to give access to the kitchen.

Still internal bits to tidy up like window sills in the bedrooms and some plasterboarding and insulating in porch etc but we are back moving along in this cold weather :huray:

Thanks

Didn't know you could get insulated garage doors, are they much more expensive? What the total start time to expected finish time then Walchy?

Hi there

Yes insulated garage door, if you have looked through the thread and see how much insulation has been put in the building it was a no brainier for me, my garage leads straight into my kitchen, so another draft less was my view, yes was a little more expensive I think the difference was £130 for insulated....

I am hoping everything will be done and completed by end of April 2013 :huray: this is to include the rear decking also.

More snow has not helped again but as it has delayed a few bits but still full steam ahead...

Thanks and hope that answers your questions...

Cheers
