I was having lunch in a pub in South Shields when the first goal was scored, I thought the place was going to explode!..........All Sunderland fans by the sound of it.

Bet a fiver it was te fountain gadget? Or the hedworth hall maybe? The roof nearly got took off the westoe when mitrovic got the equaliser. More by relief than out else. We could and should have been 3 down at half time. Again we've made a rubbish Sunderland team look like Barcelona. But we've stopped the rot. And save of the season contender for the absolutely outstanding rob Elliot. I take my hat of to the fella. He's our player of the season and was mom today without a doubt. What I'd love to know is how moussa sissoko continues to get his game. He's absolutely desperate as a footballer. Today he offered absolutely nothing to back up his constant claims that he's capable of champions league level football. He's not even a good Tuesday nighter. Infact I'm convinced that I know better players off my Tuesday lot. Only thing lacking is the fitness. Coz he's absolutely useless

Shields is obv a halfy half mix. So the pubs reflect that. Some pubs are Newcastle and some are the domain of the followers of the forces of darkness. I'm blessed in that my pub of choice is staunch Newcastle.

I don't like football so I have no preference on teams, but the mate I was with is a Newcastle fan. He was pretty *issed off when Sunderland scored but cheered up a bit when the equaliser was scored.

i was exactly the same. a mixture of anger, dissapointment and resignation to yet another defeat to the mackems. however when mitro put the ball in the net it changed very quickly.

thought his celebration was class and he went to jump on the random pitch invader and the pair of em fell over

then he got sparked at the end and still wanted to carry on. shame weve got some players that the rest seem to have to carry. one in particular who keeps saying he should be playing champions league. maybe he will on football manager on his pc like. hes certainly not good enough in real life

so this evening our season took a possible turn for the worse with the news that our keeper was taken off on a stretcher with suspected knee ligament damage. this most likely puts him out for the season.

this is the lad who came in after our first choice keeper suffered a knee injury on international Fuc$ing duty....

so 2 keepers out. both knee injuries. one playing for holland the other for ireland.

weve had a bad enough season so far and now this,....

f*ck football. it takes the f*ck p*ss the b*stard. were almost certain to go down now. going into essential must win games with a less than convincing 3rd choice keeper. lads... let the p*ss taking commence. as yous may aswell get it over with
