Re: Double side extension 2012:- 53sq metres of floor
Morning all and a merry Christmas to you all...
The deck is now 99% finished, just deciding what to do with the front, Trellis etc... I am wanting to put some bits and bobs under the deck for storage as my shed is about to fall down so not rushing to complete as it needs to right.
Anyway pictures are below of where it is up to, it has given us a great outdoor space without having to walk to the bottom of the garden when having a BBQ or eating outside, you know when we get one of those Indian Summers
I will post a total project cost shortly for the whole extension and other jobs done along the way, just on with adding up 7 pages of bills Expecting mid to late 60k money...
Really hope you have all enjoyed following the thread for the past nearly 2 years time zooms you by, anyone thinking about doing an extension and keeps putting off, one piece of advice, just crack on with it because the finished job is fantastic for family life, we do not know how we managed previously, first Xmas finished and I has been Fantastic....
Cheers for looking and enjoy the New year...

Re: Double side extension 2012:- 53sq metres of floor
Reminiscing about this project, loved every part of the build, we have now sold the property and moved on to something new, no extension planned
Something I had forgot to add for all the followers of the project, Final build cost totalled £85,000... With all the extra bits I had done I was pleased with the spend....
Hope your all keeping well...
