i cant beleive that too. i actually missed the winner...

one for arthur woulda been sooooo appropriate. our old next door neighbour died last year. he was called arthur and he used to put a bet on the national every year without fail... only a 10p bet or whatever like. i even mentioned him this morning....

the toon are bloody useless. pricks

however.....

south shields made it win number 31 in a row.... a 1-0 victory over north shields today. theyre promoted to the northern premier league now. and i believe that 31 wins in a row is actually a world record

Arthur is the name of his first child, who was one on the day of the national so he stuck 50quid on the nose

im gonna start doing acca's i think like. but not backing the toon coz theyre a bunch of dicks.

fella that i watch matches with is probs in his 60's and he earns a living by looking for bookies mistakes and then betting on those matches. he spends the week going round all the william hill and ladbrookes in the area putting £50 a time bets on. seems to do alright at it too.

sometimes he finds that coupons or whatever and the machines in the shops dissagree so he makes even more money haha
