is there a rule to PROMOTE drivers if they break rules?

ah, who cares - the FIA can make one up

Top Man Lewis :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

They can give a 25 second penalty like they already have to Lewis this year....but even I don't think Ferrari can buy there way out of this

there is nothing that can be sanctioned against McLaren for what another team does - or fails to do.

boy done good.

and Glock is trading in his Toyota Aygo for a shiny new Merc SLR

Wow, thought it had all gone but then he pulls it back, top man!
"Where would we be without rules?
France! And where would we be with too many rules? Germany!"

if you watch the video on itv website of final lap, you see glock dropping back big time...........much more than he would have if he was just letting hamilton past. Snaking about all over the place on the wrong tyres

:thumbright:

Got to watch it properly (on itv website) after the wife spoiled it by screaming at the TV for the entire last lap. She hates hamilton and loves massa

just to clear it up for Ferrari thinking Glock might have thrown it

last lap times
L. Hamilton 1:26.126
T. Glock 1:44.731
J. Trulli 1:44.800

look at Truli and Glocks times ,just about identical ..so Truli did hell of a job slowing down to the same speed as Glock ..hmmm dont think so

both the Toyota`s were on dry tyres ,in fact think they were the only 2 cars left on dry ,worth a gamble to be honest but didnt pay off ,could have done big time ,it was the teams orders to stay out

safe to say though no one at Toyota will ever get a job with Ferrari

Still stand by my statements previuos though ..Lewis is a bloody good driver but wants to win every race at 200 mph ..needs to use his head a lot more ,if he did he would have won the crown weeks ago

roll on next season and hopefully the Honda`s will be up there and we can all cheer on Button :thumbright:

oh and a few brits in WSB

if the toyota's had come in to change tyres, then hamilton would have won without any 'controversy' from people who dont know what their talking about

and apart from anything else, if the FIA Stewards hadn't giving a penalty to Vettel in that earlier race when Massa drove into him - and thereby gifting Massa an extra point, Lewis could have come 6th anyway and still won.

Karma!

most of it waffle, but the bit near the end says

"The Toyota twitched, Timo tried getting on the gas, it spun its wheels, they were past in an instant, their grip advantage enormous, and McLaren got away with it: Hamilton had got back in position in the last corner of the last lap of the last race.

Actually, Glock’s gamble had paid off. He’d been seventh before the rain arrived and he finished sixth.

Had McLaren done this, it would have paid off for them too."
