I have always understood bullnose to mean a full 180 radius, as in nosings for treads, attaching the word skirting seems to mean a slower and longer radius through 90 degrees than pencil.

jason your right 180 radius is bullnose and 90 degree is pencil round. that is how i thought it was to.

Bullnose skirting has a radius the same thickness as the board whilst a pencil round has a tighter radius.
