To be honest i thought the point of this forum was to offer and recieve advice and assistance to those with diy / trade problems or questions...

NOT to try and make people feel stupid for having a problem which shouldn't have happened.

If i had KNOWN that it was being cocked up then i could have done something sooner, as it happens i merely suspected it, and was proven right when it rained. ::b my mistake i admit!

Anyway we all have our opinions and are entitled to them,,lets not drag down an excellent forum by posting negative and essentially unhelpful replys to genuine requests for advice / help. :wink:

Solutions suggested are all good and thanks again to those with the advice. :thumbright:

steve dont be daft. our tim gets very bored and sometimes goes off on one. as a tt member he sometimes forgets this site is mainly for amateurs and diyers.
tim wont find this offensive. hes got skin like a Fuc$ing rhino :lol:

about to fit decking meself......goign to put a 10mm spacer between the ledger and house, should I also leave a 10mm gap between the dek boards and the house?
