What do you hate mate, the scotia or the decorating ? If its the scotia you are welcome to lend my pinner next time you are stanstead . Don't knock yourself mate. Looks ok to me

Both, if I'm honest.
Now it's light coloured, it shows up all the plaster trowel marks all over and the scotia would be miles better if it was longer strips, so it didn't have the joins down the longer walls. Like Wes said, it'll be full of his stuff soon so it's not going to be a problem.
On the bright side, the light is now up too.....
