Needed another hammer, just bought a cheapie today for the house as I took the one I had in the house for work and it (like 2 other claw hammers are hiding in a tool box or other...bit like buses, can't find one then stumble across 3 at once)

Scot-Canuck, got my Stanley Fatmax framing hammer (from Chez) today, n'all. I must congratulate Stanley on creating a thing of great beauty. I dunno whether to use it or fix it up on the wall so it's on show. I've been looking at it every 5 minutes since I got home, and tomorrow I'll have withdrawal symptoms if I leave it at home.

My *usually* grumpy postwoman was in a good mood when she delivered it...not sure whether she thought it was a different kind of "tool".....

Its probably the best hammer I've ever used, though I would expect it to be when I saw the RRP....
My old man is already making noises about borrowing it....hmmmm
