Re: Sugru free samples
mines arrive as well
have done 3 or four adjustments to a dowel jig to make it more accurate and efficient
thought about using the sugru but a square edge and around 0.8mm thickness was required

Got home today to find my sample - thanks
I'll be using it to replace a knob on a portable gas stove (camping) that keeps flying off whenever I switch the thing off. Nice bright orange Sugru should match the dayglow blue of the stove too

Thank you very much, found mine on the mat when I got in last night. Now have to wander round the house looking for something yellow that can be broken so I can put it together again.......

Re: Sugru free samples
Mine nearly arrived today: the envelope got here but was empty (apart from a UHM business card) and in a very distressed condition.
It was wrapped in a polythene apology bag from the PO suggesting I complete a claim form if anything is missing or damaged.

One day it will all be firewood.

Good old Royal mail strikes again
It's not like the price of a first class stamp is cheap anymore
I didn't use a small jiffy bag as the ones I had would have meant using a first class large stamp!
I'll repost to people who's Sugru did not arrive

Re: Sugru free samples
Ditto with mine that came in an apology bag this morning. Corner torn right off the envelope, and envelope generally in a sorry state. Contents missing apart from a UHM card.ayjay wrote:Mine nearly arrived today: the envelope got here but was empty (apart from a UHM business card) and in a very distressed condition.

I'd definitely consider making a claim if you received the apology bag
I will re-send those that have not received their samples though, unless I run out of Sugru
