Not worth a watch
Well after watching the last episode of The Teacher I should have trusted my initial instincts and binned this as it turned out to have a stupid contrived ending. The whole thing was flying in the face of the UK legal process and the characters were largely unbelievable. It was filmed using Bradford and Budapest as locations purporting to be in Yorkshire but it looked like a typical Commie housing estate rather than an English equivalent that added to the depression. Give it a miss.

While I am at it Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure is pathetic. Clearly based on the success of Clarkson's farm (as you were Grendel) this pale imitation sees someone who has not got a clue making himself look like a t*at. More like Kelvin's pretend farming as a sideline to what will be a holiday let development in due course. I have never seen what he brings to anything??

Well, I guess it depends if you have an interest in farming. Clarkson is actually doing it, sure there are a few laughs at his expense but he is getting on with farming his 1000 acre plus holding. He has owned it for some years but it was farmed by a contractor who retired so he decided to take it on himself. It was one of the biggest downloads on Prime. That Kelvin one is a joke by comparison.

Well yes, but he surely made far more out of Amazon fees than his £144 profit from supposedly running the farm. Different of accounts?

I agree, however, my son suggested we watched the farm series and I was sceptical and said i will give 1 episode and see, I watched the lot and found it very good.

Two series worthy of a mention. Despite reports that ITV's The Bay has 10 million viewers we gave it two episodes and binned it. A ridiculously woke gloomfest, unconvincing poorly cast tick box actors, and a stupid plot. What are these TV goons thinking of, your output is supposed to entertain not create depression you fools.
I watched all 8 episodes of Around the World in 80 Days and despite having great locations and a good original story to draw from the producers managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of success with a lot of unbelievable woke b*llocks that was a central part of the whole thing. Miscasting a black tick box actor as Passportout who then goes off with the white girl in the end was a pure fantasy in Victorian England as well as all the other PC rubbish brought into the story at every opportunity. This was of course the BBC so I should have known better.

Started No return last night, not sure about it just yet. A fairly irritating cast with a slightly implausible plot about a male-on-male sexual assault in Turkey by a 16 year old lad on holiday with his family. He is locked up as clearly, in a Muslim country, they are not too tolerant of homosexual acts so a nightmare scenario unfolds. I will report back after episode two.

After Netflix reminded me four times of a 'worth the wait' film we watched Forgive Us Our Trespasses It was a WW2 film where a disabled kid is hunted by the Nazis as part of their plan to exterminate all those Germans with mental or physical disabilities. It gets going and we are well into it but it is only 14 minutes long FFS. I thought there was something wrong and it had jumped to the end but ion checking it is just 14 mins long. FFS what a waste of time, and why trumpet such a small offering. Don't bother.

I started watching the new Peaky Blinders and it did not grab me. Too much of Tommy walking through smoke, acting like a loony, attempting suicide (again), and a distinct lack of plot. I will watch the other half when I am in the mood. Similarly, I will not be watching the new season Killing Eve that started in series 1 very well but has since descended into a load of woke b*llocks. Typical BBC to snatch defeat from the jaws of success.

Sadly, I cannot get it on any of my channels. You have access to lots more streaming services than I do.
