I had a new lawn put down Thursday 28th May on top of a good layer of topsoil I’ve watered it twice a day, under the turf is damp and the turf itself moist and new white roots are starting to appear. It’s just in some areas the joins are turning brown and I’m concerned as to why as I’ve taken good care of it so far. Is it something to worry about ? And what could I do to stop it getting worse ?
Thanks.

Don't worry too much, you are doing the right things. It is normal to get a bit of browning and lose some grass where the turfs were cut and stacked and the edges got dry. But when laid, as it roots down fresh grass will spread and in a short while brown lines will disappear. I had this years ago and panicked and sprayed with Miracle Grow and it went mad growing. Just be patient and keep watering and do not cut it too short for a few weeks until it is well established.

Thanks for your quick reassuring response. It’s not been a week yet maybe I should be more patient 😝

I think everything is ok, you just need some time.
Anyway, which kind of lawn is it? I've read it's important to choose the right kind of lawn for different climate zones. So, if you chose it right, it will be ok sooner or later.
