Pre chosen flavours
Looking for some individual jam portions jam on ebay, (Long story) I found quite a few "mixed jam items" (for want of a better word)
It got me thinking, who comes up with such flavour combinations. Blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry and apricot
Then there is Walkers crisps big bags, Cheese and onion, ready salted, prawn cocktail and salt and vinegar,
I know you can't please all the people all the time, but the 12 pack never used to have prawn cocktail. Why not chicken.

Question.
What flavour combinations (Doesn't have to be crisps) have you seen/got/ tried and you think why THAT combination or why have they not got (insert available flavour here*) with (insert other available flavour here*)
Wonder who came up with vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream combination
* I am meaning a flavour that that company already make, not a fictitious flavour.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

I can't speak to the crisps as I don't really know which flavours are most popular but with the jam it's simple, those 4 flavours are far and away the most common jams made and eaten.

Anyone remember "Hedgehog" flavoured crisps? there is "Haggis" flavoured crisps, as a person that likes haggis, the crisps are not too bad dont eat jam, but we all like certain flavours as we have been brought up with them, its as we grow up and find there is a whole new world of taste, I think there is still two types, Sweet or Savoury, my DW is sweet while Iam not.

I think cheese and onion as always been a flavour combination , long before the advent of processed foods.
Like scones , jam and cream
Roast a beef and Yorkshire puddings with horseradish
Lamb and mint sauce
Etc etc etc etc etc

I still want to know why 99% of toothpaste has to be minty flavoured. I want cheese and onion or crispy bacon flavour toothpaste.
One day it will all be firewood.

I do, I hate mint toothpaste. I been using a Fennel flavoured one for a long time now, it's the best of a not very wide choice outside of mint.
The first thing I do after brushing my teeth is to have a good slurp of tea to get rid of the taste of toothpaste.
I prefer my mouth to taste like my mouth.

If I remember correctly "Hedgehog" wasn't a flavour it was a Welsh brand of crisps.
I only buy crisp multi-packs in my chosen flavour, cheese and onion.

Just googled it. Hedgehog foods ltd. did bring out a limited edition "hedgehog" flavour crisp in the early 80's. Actually flavoured with lard.

Nothing wrong with a bit of lard... or beef dripping.
