Hi guys n gals. Absolutely DIY novice here. More destroy it yourself than do it yourself. You get the idea. I have very little knowledge on most aspects of building etc.
I had a conservatory built around 8 years ago and havent really had a problem with it but all of a sudden today we noticed these marks on the wall. To me it looks like there has been some sort of water ingress in the wall but I've no idea why this would have started all of a sudden given that the weather is glorious and the conservatory has been in place for many years. The dirty mark in the top right of the picture is where we have taken a picture off the wall and found there was mould behind it. There was nothing covering the other two marks by the coat rack. I dont know how long theyve been there but we have only just noticed this. Any advice would be appreciated.

I suspect that there is a leak in the flashing which is the metallic looking strip between the wall and the conservatory roof joint. It looks like water has found its way down, maybe under the plaster, and dried leaving a water mark stain. Have a close look at the flashing for anything obvious but I think it a small opening as there has clearly not been torrents of water that you would have notied I am sure.

could also be lack of cavity trays.... not that ive seen a job that used them lately but technically theyre supposed to be installed when an outside wall becomes an inside wall lower down...
id go with leaky flashing though first... flashband just isnt good enough for this job... maybe on a lean to shed but not a conny imo.. always lead for me... or lead replacement tucked in and pointed..

All my advice should be taken with a rather large pinch of salt, all the gear, absolutely no idea whatsoever ;)
