Just wondering if anyone's used one of these little puppies?

Can't afford it at the mo, but I'm on the save for something decent and this fella caught my eye.

On paper it seems a winner - impact driver and combi drill all in one, but nothing tells like first hand experience.

Anybody out there enlighten me?

Ta in advance

dont know your level use !!!!

but if your light to medium trade or diy you will be hard pushed to get better value for money than ryobi

i have ryobi as my secondary back up gear but to be honnest it gets most use

go for the ryobi one+ hammer drill driver/impact driver for £100 from screwfix

I'm using Ryobi at the mo, and though it serves me well enough for the moment the battery life isn't brilliant - still, I got the combi drill and angle drill for £65! So definitely no complaints there.

I'm an apprentice spark (hence can't really afford it at the mo) but as time goes on there'll come a time when I'll want and be able to afford something better. We do mainly domestic/commercial work with a fair bit of new builds, so obviously anything serious is gonna get the 110V kit used on it, but there'll probably be a fair bit of drilling joists etc. - which again looks pretty good for this little fella as it looks like it's pretty compact and will fit in all the awkward nooks and crannies.

What's the battery life like on them though? I've heard a few people say that Li-ion ain't all it's cracked up to be, and they've actually ended up going back to the Ni-cad because it lasts better.

Cheers chaps
