I have IP65 rated fire rated downlights in my home office. The bulbs I'm using (Kanlux 9W 900 lumens) are failing prematurely.
The manufacturer has advised that the reason the bulbs are failing prematurely is because of insufficient ventilation because they are IP65. Can anyone please recommend non IP rated chrome downlights with ample ventilation.

Non IP rated Chrome Downlights
Down lights covers a large range just one model has.
6W: Diameter 120mm, depth 25mm, cut-out 107mm
9W: Diameter 145mm, depth 25mm, cut-out 133mm
12W: Diameter 174mm, depth 25mm, cut-out 157mm
So need a little more than down lights. Size matters, a 9W at 133 mm is unlikely to over heat, but 9W at 50 mm is, the GU10 spot light is great to read in bed or with that many it looks like a planetarium at around 3.5 to 5 watt, but once you go over that then you start to have problems, IP65 means dust tight (No ingress of dust; complete protection against contact (dust-tight). A vacuum must be applied. Test duration of up to 8 hours based on airflow.) and Liquid ingress protection (Water jets - Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm (0.25 in)) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.) it has nothing to do with fire resistance.
The British Standard (BS 476) categorises products by numbers 0 to 4 (0 being the least flammable and 4 the most) The European Standard (EN 13501) categorises products by letters A to F (A being the least flammable and in theory F being the most *)
There are fire rated fittings and hoods to go over fittings, but most GU10 fittings recommend no bigger than 6 watt LED.
