What will clean these tiles from deep watermarks

We have these porcelain tiles, and we have a very deep rust/water mark on the tile.

My wife has used so many methods of cleaning, but to without the result she is looking for, other than taking out the tile and replacing it, what else can we try

What has been tried, old fashioned dilute white vinegar for instance?

Have you tried Borax and lemon juice? I recall hearing about someone who used pumice powder successfully with a similar stain as yours. You can get it on eBay

"Bar Keepers Friend" is very good for removing rust and rusty marks, if you haven't already tried it.
