What would you do?

Stripped all tiles off, now scrapping adhesive off... would you Just fill major holes, or re plaster it or just skim it? Or would it be ok once new adhesive is on ?

Take off any high spots with an old chisel or a bolster, Fill any large holes(say 15mm) plus, don't worry about smaller holes. As it's a wet area you will need a cementitious (i.e. powdered adhesive)

Ok thanks, Should I not bother skim coating the wall then?
