Grout Colours Help!

Long story short:

I need to source some wall tile grout, lighter than Jasmine but not as bright as pure white. Sort of cream / off-white if you see what I mean.

Any recommendations please?

Have a look at Mapei range of coloured grout mix powders.

I like the Mapei products, used their adhesive on this job and it was spot on.

Trouble is the colour range is confusing; Jasmine, Beige, Ivory etc etc and once you’ve opened the bag you’re a bit stuck.

I’ll email Mapei and see if they can send next colour chart.

Yes I got the adhesive from Screwfix, and the Anthracite grout. Problem is my customer has now changed her mind about the grout colour. I think she’s right too, but trying to get just the right colour is proving problematic.

Anyway I’ve sent a samples request via Mapei’s website so will wait and see.

My worry now is I’ll find the perfect colour but won’t be able to find it for sale anywhere! Screwfix & Tool Station only stock a limited range of pretty standard colours.

Nothing’s ever easy is it!!

Update...

Took a punt on a colour called Cornish Cream (not Mapei, can’t remember the brand now), anyway it turned out to be spot on. Just the right degree of off-white.

Meanwhile Mapei have sent me some literature & samples in the post with a quick turnaround. Don’t need them for this job now but impressive service from them. Definitely good to have for future reference.
