Something I did during lockdown. Old Champion 'valve' record player was gathering dust in my garage, not working nor repairable by me and as it is a cheap 1960's brand even if fixed the sound would have been poor if I was able to fix it, which is not in my gift
So I thought I would use the case to put an alternative form of music inside, using a second hand car audio unit, speakers from a dead mini hifi, and a 12v power supply on the internet, here is the end result
So.... here is the empty box and me sizing up the empty box with the kit I intended to use
Using scrap ply wood and my limited wood working tools.
I built a platform to conceal the workings and fit the audio unit into

Nice job, always fancied doing something similar but never had the time.
