New Bosch mitre saw...PCM 8 S.....looks good

Spotted this the other day whilst tool browsing....looks a nice piece of kit with all the bells & whistles...

Price seems to be around the £240 mark.

The green Bosch tools are normally made for the diy market and are not as robust as the Blue Bosch power tools.

Not sure if it is worth spending £240 on, as you can often pick up similar Dewalt models for a little more.

the green bosch stuff is good, they share many of the same parts. £240 is not a DIY price tag, so it must be reasonably well made.

it's worth looking at, as some of the cheaper dewalt saws are probably not much better.

its london.co.uk are doing the blue bosch version of that for £230 inc vat at the mo, very good saw for the money

Yeah the Blue Bosch tools are classed as the professional range however the Green tools are still very good.

The Blue GCM8S is a very good saw but only has a 60mm depth of cut, (The PCM8S (Green) has 70mm)
I suppose 60mm would cover most things around the house though.

i bought a rework dewalt dw701 of ebay for £180 ish. canny tool but it cant do the trenching that the more modern tools can. but as i never need that feature it doesnt bother me
