Insulated plasterboard

Hi Looking for some advice
I am looking to insulate my garage and eventually put a window in place of the garage door. I was thinking to use insulated plasterboard (£40 each) (platerboard on top with a thick insulator glued to the back of it)and dot and dab to the garage wall. Then just tape it up.
The wall is just breeze blocks with one of the walls connected to the house and the other connected to the outside of the house. Does this insluted platerboard do the job directly onto masonry or is better to build out a full frame for each wall? The garage is quite small so I want to keep as much space as possible.
- Roof is already plastered
- Newish build house 2000
- Just going to put a stud wall at the front of the garage door for now until I can afford for someone to do the window/brick work
- Floor is a concrete slab just going to laminate it
Any advice would be much appreciated.
