cheers for this mate just ordered a pair. think a fair few of my older batteries are on the decline bigstyle. some seem to charge up super quickly but its working out which ones.... i number them so the oldest are 1 and 2 but theyve been goosed for ages so theyre sat in my garage.... so 3-13 i think it is are in the battery fleet.....

yes always number to have any chance off working out whats what
quicker the charge generally means less capacity being retained
i like experimenting
i will use the same charger and same work light through several full cycles and log the run/charge times off each battery

Do you lot run them down? I've started doing it with my newest ones. Circular saw will say battery is done but get 2 or 3 hours out of it in the wireless. Reading around it might not be best practice with lithium but surely the wireless doesn't discharge them too low

I'm pritty sure my old hitachi set had circuitry and when the voltage dropped (cells at 80%) the tool just stopped dead and wouldnt run again. I dont think dewalts do that.

just run em till theyre flat for the tool theyre in then bang em on charge again.
mine are number up so ill have to try and work out which ones are the super quick chargers and maybe relegate em to just radio batteries

got mine delivered today. notice theyre back tot he yellow tops.... so easier to mark up rather than the black tops of the last batteries i bought. ill put them in the van tomorrow and check my numbers to see what they have got to be
