DeWalt DCG405 grinder - Type 1 guard??

Post by qazmania »

The DCG405 grinder comes with a Type 27 guard but a Type 1 guard is advised for cutting applications.

I can't find the part number for the Type 1 guard - can anyone advise?

First post, apologies if I've missed anything.

DeWalt DCG405 grinder - Type 1 guard??

Why not contact dewalt? since they make the DCG405.

(Are you 100% sure that is what you need, seems a bit odd to buy an angle grinder then to have to buy a guard.)
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

one of my mates takes the guards off every grinder he owns. hes mental like.

that grinder being a current model offered by dewalt am sure that for cutting applications the guard it comes with would be sufficient
