old one snapped at the cable connection. Got a new one, and they said you also needed a spring.

There wasnt a spring laying about when i removed old pedal, and cant see where one would go.

It appears to work fine without it


Anyone know where it goes?

Is it a reasonably lightweight spring?

If its like i think, the spring goes over the pivot pin, one side resting on the back of the pedal, the other end on the mounting bracket.
