Hello,

I used a damp cloth to clean fron mesh and it caused rust in time.
I wonder if delicately wiping it with cloth with WD-40 applied would make rust less visible to eye or at least prevent further rusting?

Or maybe use sewing machine oil? Will doing this make front mesh a magnet for dust?

Thanks

Take the front cover off, clean it and spray paint it. Anything like wd40 or oil will as you said hold dust.

Clean it with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) or a foam cleaner like Ambersil Amberclens and a stiff brush - you can use some black shoe polish refresh the mesh

I have some IPA. Maybe I can dab it on a clean cloth and wipe with it both sides of mesh. But since IPA evaporates fast would I have enough time to use stiff brush? I don't have locally foam cleaner you mentioned but maybe I can find solution with similar ingredients.
