Bugger! Just been mugged....
Had to call the Police out and they asked me to identify the culprit...
I pointed 'over there' and said "it was pump #9".
Went in with half a tank of fuel left and it STILL cost me £97 to top it off......

Wait until we have to buy Russian oil from a middle man country, same goes for cooking oil, perhaps that is what the P.M. went to India for!
The black market finds a way and we the general public pay to make Mr middle man rich.

One 'positive' is that the current state of affairs means Government will have to make drastic and politically dodgy changes in order to survive and if that means abandoning such policies at net zero and green energy then bring it on!

Couple weeks ago they said there'd be a shortage of sunflower/rapeseed oil so I bought a litre even though we didn't need it, there was plenty there.
Noticed today that shelf was TOTALLY empty!

I'm puzzled by the sudden shortage of Sunflower oil, Sunflower oil comes from Sunflower seeds, and yes Russia and Ukraine are responsible for 80% of our sunflower seed imports.
Sunflower seeds though are harvested between late July and through to September... I would expect a shortage next year.

I suspect the shortage is because of BBC prompted panic buying.

Basic rule of thumb - if it's a 'crisis' then it's a manufactured crisis.

The loss of Ukraine and Russia’s sunflower oil could be mitigated by diverting crops away from fuel tanks.
This would help to reduce food prices, . . .
. . . 50%-60% of the rapeseed grown in Europe, and 60% of the palm oil imported by the region, goes into biodiesel.
Over the last 20 years the increase in demand for biodiesel has stimulated production but there is always going to be a crunch point where you get the debate over fuel versus food,
There was an argument for temporarily suspending the use of edible oils in biodiesel due to the current crisis,
This would have a dramatic impact on the availability for the food industry and alleviate some of the pressures.”

At the current rate of use of biofuels in the UK alone, we as a country will use 6 MILLION TONS of grain to make the ethanol required for the E10 petrol we use.
This is FOOD. This is the lunacy of 'Green' policies and if anyone who supports 'green' politics/policies can tell me this is the right thing to do and explain WHY then I'm sure a lot of people would be appreciative of being 'properly informed'.

I went to my local supermarket Diesel Card Only pumps.
Inserted my card, tapped in my PIN.
The pump immediately took the best part of 100GBP out of my A/c even tho' I'd not even started the pump.
