I'm fitting a1000mm base unit as a straight corner unit as per the instructions in the box (B&Q, Caraway, no expense spared or even gone to).
The configuration for the blanking panel and corner post mean that the door width will be 597mm
B&Q do not make a door at that width. Their official advice was yes, we don't make doors of that width, so ask the store staff for advice ( )
Replacement door suppliers seem to be working with 18mm boards whereas these units are designed with 16mm doors.
I don't think my router skills are advnaced enough to remove 3mm from a standard 600mm door without a wobble. Just curious to know how others would approach this.
door 597mm wide?

door 597mm wide?
Unit doors are never the same width as the cabinets. They are always smaller, 595mm to 597mm for a 600 gap. You should be able to lose or gain a small amount on a corner to accomodate the door if needed.
