You lot have convinced me I should get a Dewalt multi tool, so thanks for that
Still haven't got one (Or the money) but I was looking and I found the usual ad
Click me
But then I found this one
Click me
The 2nd one is £36 less, they seem to be the same thing, or am I missing something?

i dont think there is any difference in the multitool itself - has the same model number
its not a third party, sold by amazon, usually they are very good if there is any issues , at least in my experiance
I know sometines the images can be misleading, I have had issues with 2 items where the item supplied is not in the picture - but it was mentioned in the text
But in the text it does say
1 x 31 x 43mm Wood with Nails Blade
- 1 x 31 x 43mm Fast Cut Wood Blade
- 1 x Sanding Pad
- 25 Sheets Assorted Sandpaper
- 1 x Universal Blade Adaptor
which is 29 accessories - same as the screwfix one mentions
and the same model number DCS355N-XJ
which shows what items you get
the dewalt site
https://www.dewalt.co.uk/products/dcs35 ... -bare-unit
lists 29 pc Accessory Set to support a range of cutting and sanding applications
I think i got the
DCS355NT-XJ
Notice the T
cant find the exact model , as i got 2x 2Ah batteries as well
which included a t-stak case as well
https://www.dewalt.co.uk/products/dcs35 ... -bare-unit
They have various combinations of bits etc for multitool like DCS355M2-XE , includeds batteries
but all the same model unti

its a dewalt buzzy toy model DCS355 suffix tells the kit included n= naked[no battery or charger ] your guess what the xj probably the full extra kit
if you get say 2 4ah batteries it will probably say 2x4 as in DCS3552x4-xj or something like that

actually..... good time to ask this,.... my multi tool same model as this is canny old now. its probably at the end ish of its life. when its in use the handle part gets noticeably hot. it doesnt take long for it to get hot.... does this happen with any of yours? mine has started to go a bit dicey on the trigger also. not to put you off s/e as if mine went bang id replace it with the same model anyway. ive had a lot of use out of it so i cant complain

The lock does not work - and the trigger is a bit dicey also
Not noticed it get hot - but as I say just a DIYer and last use was probably when i put a new Cloakroom in last autumn

the trouble you have with the dewalt is you can hold it in 2 positions as the trigger is long and iff you choose the wrong [front] position it can impede the air flow exacerbated by the fact you are holding the heat source area

I am pleased to say, as you see, it is here. Never had one before, just tested it, not sure how I did without one.
Yes. For £89 it does come with all the accessories, but no battery or charger. (It wouldn't it is sold as bare)
Very happy.
Oh, and its like the Dewalt drill in that the more you squeeze the trigger the faster it goes.

Screwfix offers stock but very rarely any price advantage.

Try saying "Screwfix want
£31 MORE than I paid"
