Leaning Staircase

Post by benalla9 »

Hello all. I have a timber staircase that leans away from the wall. A structural engineer says it's not a big issue, it's just sitting on a joist, all of which lean in because of the age of the property. It looks like a post has been removed from underneath. Is there anything I can do to fix it, at least visually? There isn't any movement when walking up.

i would just live with it
it has relaxed and everything flows if you level up the stairs you then have to sort the upper landing and the ground floor level
we are all ------------------still learning
