Twin and earth used outside

Post by stevei »

Daughter's house has an old halogen flood light that needs replacing. It is fed by what looks like 1.5 twin and earth, with around 2 metres clipped to the outside wall before disappearing into the brickwork. That part of the house is about 15-20 years old. I would like to have the cable replaced. What is a suitable cable for this that can stand uv light?

In main if outer is black, then not really a problem with UV light.
