Firstly thanks for the opportunity to post on your board I have an external security light mounted in front of our garage which is connected via a white plastic junction box inside the garage. I would like to fit a security camera together besides the light can I use the same power source in a junction box? Would I have to purchase a junction box with additional input channels like a in line junction box with a multi cell?

You can use the same supply no problem. The next part depends on the CCTV camera you are going to get/use, but you do not say.
Most CCTV cameras use a plug in power supply to power them, so you would need a socket, not a junction box.
If you give more details then we can help further.

If you have a switch for the external light, switching the light off would probably mean switching off the power to the security camera too.
As above what connection is required for the camera?
