Hoping for some help. I am trying to download all my Facebook messenger messages and doing this through the download your information section and selecting messages. I have had my my account since 2007 but it’s only returning messages from 4th July 2021 onwards. I have tried putting in a date range before this and it comes back with no messages. Does this mean the messages before this have been deleted? Is there a way of me getting these back?

I have a similar problem and haven't yet found a solution. So I 'll keep an eye on this post.
