CH4 + Friday night live

Did you watch Friday night live (21/10/22) Its supposed to be based on the original version from '85 ? Ben Elton was the host (as he was also then) if you saw it tonight what did you think? I loved the original, and Saturday night live, but this, it tried, even Harry Enfield was on it (he was in the original too) but somethings should be left alone, I could see the format was the same, but it was just not funny, I only watched half.

I gave it a miss as I thought it would not be a patch on the original as they have not got the comedians these days, they are all lefty borearses.

i really enjoyed it
some controversial, like the Andrew sketch mentioning other royals as if guilty by association
some off the modern humour not to my taste but something there for everybody

unless you dont like the subject matter
