A mate of mine is looking for a specific hinge for a kitchen door. The hinge was removed from a wall corner unit, he thinks the hinge is 110 degrees!

The problem was that one of the hinges broke and so the door had to be removed from the cupboard until new hinges were sourced. I went with him to Howdens, who had similar hinges, but the recessed hole in the door was different to that on the Howdens hinge!

The hinge is definitely made by Lama and has the following numbers on it-
248 3706
1457

If anyone knows of a UK stockist that would be useful? I have searched Google and can only find US based companies that stock them, such as WWhardware :dunno:

The Titus 248.0U22.050 hinge kept popping up when I was searching, but again they all seemed to be in the US and I'm not convinced that it is the identical hinge.

Any advice will be passed on to him :thumbright:

Thanks in advance

Some years ago I matched some hinges with DDF Components in Hull. I sent them a photograph and they confirmed the make/model.

DDF as a Company appears to have been disolved but looking at the Companies House website, DDF seem to have morphed into M&D Components as a Melanie Jane Field is listed as an Officer for both companies.

I used to deal with Mark Field there, he was really helpful. M&D are always good for a browse.
