The strange case of Nicola Bulley

I have been following the sad case of the disappearance of Nicola Bulley and we watched the C5 programme last night that assembled all the key points. Although the focus has been on her possibly drowning in the river this is being discounted by an expert with sonar equipment who has scanned the river down to the furthest points before it reaches the sea. Also if she had slipped down the bank the river is only a few feet deep near the edge which adds to the confusion. I do hope she is found, there are a lot of people doing their best to help.

I thought the expert had only covered the stretch to the weir, not right to the sea. Lets just hope the mystery is solved for the family soon.

My wild guess based on the phone being left and dog collar removed, along with the fact she was no stranger to the park, the cctv records and thorough water search that she is still alive somewhere.

Very, very odd indeed.

Despite a LOT of speculation by the media, I very much doubt that only the Police know everything that has been done and is being done - they will never disclose everything to the media.

Fingers crossed for news because it must be terrible for her family

Body found earlier today in the area, not clear at the mo whether this was in or near to the river. Identification still to take place.

I am sure it must be her sadly. It vindicates Lancashire Police for focusing on a river search and all the bloody critics who have been going on and on about their theories must feel pretty stupid now. I feel sorry for the family and their loss, such a shame.
