Wood Burner cooking

Anyone else cook on theirs or even keep a kettle simmering to save some cash? We do both, and the wife hs even managed roast spuds on the stove. :)

cooked curry with a pan and frying pan the secrete is heat the tin chopped tomatoes before the frying pan then swap between to fry and keep the pan warm standing in turn on a chopping board and covered with a double thick fluffy towel to retain heat
we are all ------------------still learning

My Partner prefers to do cooking on charcoal, but has the advantage of an outside hearth!
