Can press-fit fittings be used on PEX pipe?
Yes, press-fit fittings can be used on PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) pipe. In fact, press-fit fittings are a popular option for connecting PEX pipe because they provide a secure, leak-proof connection without the need for special tools or equipment.

No you shouldn't use Xpress fittings on PEX.
Xpress are M profile and PEX fittings are U profile jaws.
You can press onto push fit but you will never get a manufacturer of either the fitting or the pipe to warranty it so if there's a problem you are on your own and your PLI will run away from any subsequent claims.
MLCP and U profile is looking the way to go nowadays
