Taking A Radiator Off

Hi , I am in the process of taking a couple of radiators off , got a valve on one side and this on the other. Any idea how to close this off ?.

:welcomeuhm: Yep you need the correct sized allen key. Can't tell what size from the pic, various sets available, as DWD would say "righty tighty lefty loosy"

What he says, but with a further comment......

The other valve turns the radiator on, off, or in between, adjusts the temperature by controlling the flow. This one, which you do not normally touch as it has a cap on it, is used for balancing the radiator against all the others in the house.

Technically, therefore, assuming your system has been set up correctly, (balanced) you should count the number of quarter turns needed to turn it off clockwise and make a note. On reinstating after the work, re-open the valve to the same position by turning anticlockwise by the same number of turns.
