Apparently Flap ears Lineker has been stood down from Match of the Day because he cannot keep his gob shut on political matters. Ian Wright has also stood down in solidarity. What a bonus, I might watch MOD in support while these two very irritating goons are off. ( I probably won't )

This has turned into a farce with all the lefty hand wringers coming out to support the stupid gob shite. Of course, the majority are just scared of being cancelled and are virtue signalling by stepping back in solidarity. Solidarity with what? His comment on the government's measures to stop illegal immigrants channel crossing was pointless attention seeking. The measures are there to stop migrants from using channel boat crossings to claim asylum when they are already in a safe country, and passed through a number of safe countries to get there even. Statistics have shown in the main they are mainly economic migrants, especially young men from Albania. The measures are a deterrent you flap eared crisp flogging moron.

I hope this will eventually filter through to the BBC news and weather report, I don't need a band of people reading or explaining what is going on. One News reader, yes reader, and one weather 'person' to explain the isobars.
Away with these have been and the same for all those Award ceremonies, as if they were not being paid for the multi takes of the same scene and just read the stunt names.
When I watch Action & Drama movie's, films, I can see how often the modern ones switch and you just know they have said their one liner and the clapper board has stated act##

I take it you are not a fan DWD ? regardless of what he said I don't think the BBC were right to suspend him, If he'd said it on air that's one thing. Voicing your own opinion on twitter or whatever is another.
Regardless of your politics isn't freedom of speech a thing anymore ?

I hear what you say Mike but these days it is not so clear with job contracts more or less saying what you can and cannot do. For most of us, we cannot say what we might feel as there are so many offences that can be committed by saying the wrong thing. This t*at has a significant TV profile and many people who listen to his words treat his views as gospel and as such he is in breach of the impartiality clause in his (very generous) contract paid by the public. There might be a large section who agree but there may be as many who disagree so therefore he should stop making political comments that put him on one side of the spectrum and keep quiet and focus on his boring football show and crisp adverts.
You are quite right in saying I am not a fan and I hate the big eared elfin smug faced t*at irrespective of his stupid comments.

Absolutely correct. There's loads of BBC staff have tweeted pro Tory propaganda and nothing has been said. It's well known the BBC has been infiltrated by the Tory Party.wine~o wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 2:45 pmI take it you are not a fan DWD ? regardless of what he said I don't think the BBC were right to suspend him, If he'd said it on air that's one thing. I don't think the BBC thought there would be much support for GL but how wrong they were.
