I have watched a few things on ITVX which is a streaming channel offshoot of ordinary ITV. It is annoying as it has adverts that you cannot speed over but that is why it is free as such. What I have found happening is that when it breaks the programme to insert the ad stream I seem to have problems getting back to the show as the screen freezes. To get around this I have to back up and select the play again which tends to work. For this reason, I do not bother with the channel that much. I was wondering if anyone else has had this freezing issue or if it is a glitch with my system?

This is all very deliberate. Get people to stream and prevent them from skipping adverts

I can accept the ads, it is the break in the stream that is causing me problems, as soon as the adverts finish the stream freezes. I have to back up and restart it. fortunately, most of the stuff is on ordinary ITV so I can record it. I did start on the new Philby spy story series with Damian Lewis, but it was boring so I dropped it.
