Greenstar 30Si WIRELES STAR

Post by build »

Hi All

I have wired a EPH CP4 wirless program/stat to this boiler BUT have a problem.
took out the link in the boiler
The programmer and wirless stat works fine and get 240 volts at boiler

The signal is picked up all fine from the programmer to the receiver and I have 240 volts that is on the 30si boiler all okay
BUT THE BOILER WILL NOT fire up unless I have the old wirless stat set to Maxim.

If I take out the batteries on the old wirless stat the green light on the central heating keeps flashing trying to make connection to the wirless on the old stat

Does anyone know how to disconnect the wirless from the main controls on the main boiler ?

Or have I missed some thing out ?

many thanks

So you still have the LP20RF connected and the ribbon cable?
Attach fitting instructions for LP, guess reverse applies but not an expert.

Thank you for the info
Yes did know how to disconect the lp20rf BUT that would leave me with no hot water controls
I want to DISABLE the external wifi thermostat, I can take out the batteries on it BUT like I say the green heating light is then seraching for a wifi connection to the external thermostat
so if i can find a way of stopping the main lp20rf from searching for the external stat that will work all okay
